"Dual Pocket" Disposable Cartridge with dacron floss, activated carbon (removes organic matter that may cause an odor in the aquarium), and zeolite (removes harmful ammonia).
Since water naturally flows through the area of least resistance, the "Dual Pocket" feature forces water to penetrate through the carbon and zeolite providing the most efficient filtration.
